Community Allotment

In February 2024 we set up a community allotment in Carmarthen Five Fields Allotments to grow fruit & vegetables for our community kitchen.

What is it

Currently two very overgrown plots which we’re sorting our way through to make a productive space to grow food for our community kitchen.

We meet every Monday at 10am till 4pm. With a briefing on whats on the agenda for the day at around 10:15am.

What do I need to bring

We’re still early on in the project so we might need you to bring basic tools and protective gear till we’re up and running.

We will provide you with hot drinks (all day), a hot meal (at 1pm) & cake (also all day!).

Some of you might remember that when I first took on The Warren we tried our luck at growing vegetables on our flat roof above the restaurant. This, as so many people said was a BAD IDEA for so many reasons….
